I'm a simple girl in material world. I don't like it here, because my home is in heaven! If that sounds weird to you, then allow me to invite you on the most wonderful journey you've ever imagined. I have a Father in heaven who's been waiting to love you! In fact, he's loved you for a long time without you knowing it. I do love what is here though, my husband, our family and friends. And we are thankful for what God has given us! This blog is my way of expressing thanks to God who helps me in all things simple, creative, and thrify (to name a few). He has given me a love of nature as a reflection of his handywork, and I love to see the many ways it can bless people. He has given me a love of organizing (God is VERY organized) and through this I love to bless my husband with a comfortable welcoming home, and be a good steward of what God has given us! I'm so happy to be able to share my findings with you, here on this blog.

Here I am in Zimbabwe with beautiful girls at an orphanage. I loved telling them how Christ can transform their lives into a thing of beauty!

When I lived in South Africa for 3 months in the Summer of 2009, the sunsets were some of the most beautiful things my eyes have seen.
Unfortunately, I live in the land of snow (for half the year basically). But we do get out and enjoy it sometimes!
I love meeting new people, and in Mthatha, South Africa I was able to meet these sweet ladies during their week long visit with us!
